VNA Texas Hospice, Palliative Care & Meals on Wheels

Some time has passed but I can't miss the opportunity to post a review for the services we received at VNA Dallas. As you know when you are in need of their service it is a very personal and emotional situation. I thank God for blessing us with a team January 2021 that helped us carry some of the anxiety and worry of watching my dear mother transition. The Intake Nurse Jason very patient! Sharon the assistant gentle, attentive and timely! The social worker great job! The medication delivery guy was on it! Jasmine backup Nurse smart lady, very attentive as well to our questions and concerns. We are most thankful to Ms. Bobbie her primary nurse , we didn't know what to expect with my mom being on hospice with a terminal illness but every visit , phone call , supply needs, all our questions and concerns was answered and taken care of. Ms. Bobbie was right there. She gave me and my sister a sense that she was holding our hands and guiding us through the process. Although we had accepted that Pete (mother) was not going to get better, Ms. Bobbie set the atmosphere that we're going to take it one day at time and be thankful for every day we had with her. After every visit and phone call with Ms. Bobbie we got a sense of encouragement that we can get through this. Pete passed during the terrible weather storm Wednesday February 17, 2021 and Ms. Bobbie could not make the physical visit but she was right there through phone calls taking care of things and supporting us. She called me and sister both to check and see how things were going and if we needed any further assistant. I just can't say enough about Ms. Bobbie and the care team! Hospice aid named Rosanne quit in the middle of taking care of my dad! Unfit for her job. Not impressed with VNA and would not recommend for comfort, care or patience!
