I went here a few weeks ago. DO NOT make my mistake. I am a Nurse Practitioner with a valid and sound opinion and expectations for medical care. While the phlebotomist and nurse were friendly, everyone else was just terrible. Please go anywhere else, this is not an "emergency room" stand alone it's an overpriced urgent care with minimal intervention and help. I was very sick and just given fluids and now will pay a hefty price for this visit. The doctor was just as cold as the freezing room. Little is done to address your comfort.

One of the worst medical experiences of my life. I took my wife into Emergis ER on Dallas Parkway in north Dallas on a late Tuesday afternoon for blood tests. She had some inflammation issues and shortness of breath. We chose this place because it was near our home. We were put in a room that was freezing cold and was stuck in there for 4 1/2 hours without an offer to be moved. Even the staff members would come into the room and comment how cold it was, one of them admitting they were having trouble with the temperature in the office. It was warm in other rooms that were empty that night, but we were never offered to be moved into another room even though we complained about the coldness. The worst part was the physician on duty that night, Mr. Mark Nikbakht. He was extremely rude and downright mean. He did not treat us kindly and never once gave us a smile, or good luck, or some kind of thanks for visiting the facility. The entire experience was as if he had to condescend to talk to my wife about her health issues and offer her treatment. When we asked him questions about my wife's health he would reply as if we were stupid for asking him such things. At one point, outside of the patient's room, I tried to hand Mr. Nikbakht my wife's cell phone so he could look at some previous medical results that my wife had in her email, yet he stood there looking at me like how dare I approach him and speak to him. I stood there literally for 5 or 6 seconds with my hand extended toward him holding the cell phone and waiting for him to take it. He just stood there looking at me with an angry arrogant face. We appreciate the expertise and knowledge of the attending physician, Mr. Nikbakht, but the way in which he treated us left a terrible feeling in our minds. He was not kind or nice even one time during this stressful physical ordeal my wife was experiencing. We have never been treated so rudely by a medical professional. I regret the decision to take my wife to Emergis ER on Dallas Parkway, and will not visit this place again.

We tend to always go into Urgent Cares with low expectations. This place was fairly empty at almost 9pm on a weeknight, and took us in right away. The facility is brand new and beautiful, with an assortment of food, candy and drinks available. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of our medical and financial situation. The bill was about $1k, without insurance (it had been temporarily inactive) but with an explanation of what was going on, the front desk/billing was able to figure out a plan of action for the cost. It’s about the same as an ER visit, which was expected. The treatment we received was well explained, and helped the medical situation at hand. The doctor and nurses were very understanding and checked on us multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly. Shout out to Rob for doing a great job with following through the doctors recommendations and being very personable and kind. I can see us coming back here if any future emergencies arise!
