Telstar Apartments

We have lived here 5 years. Never have we had a problem with management or repairs in our home. Lori has always been kind and helpful. We are not Hispanic. It doesn't matter, anyway. I've never been treated with anything other than respect. If you've had issues here, maybe you should look into your own attitude. Maintenance is prompt, kind and knowledgeable. Pool is lovely in the summer. My only wish/complaint is pool time for adults only, as there are many children that live here.

Lived here for 8 months so far still don't have not a single firealarm in my apt. No peephole in our door and no number on the outside. These are all security hazards and the city of Dallas have been notified. I've taken pictures that have the dates on them as well. Also we got a fake accusation saying we had holes in our walls due to "fighting" and when they came and did their walk-through (Louri and Noie) they saw that the complaint was indeed false but never took down our violation. There are never problems with us paying our rent on time and I have brought it to Louri's attention that our neighbors are harassing us and she wrote us the last violation this morning instead of the neighbors that are doing the harassment. Louri shows favoritism here at these apartments and our latest phone conversation was recorded and it shows how unprofessional she really is. I told her I left her a voicemail about the neighbors harassing us over the weekend and never got a call back or anything.. Lourr says it's because she was in the hospital. When you have the responsibility of manager at a apartment complex then it doesn't matter you're gone or not that is your responsibility to be there for the tenants. My uncle is an attorney at law and has informed me of all my rights. He is where I get my resources. I have contacted the better business bureau and Henley properties/owner of Tel-Star apartments. It's like we are now being harassed by the apartment management. They've taken pictures/videos of us without our knowledge and I actually have a court order that no one is supposed to take any pictures of me without consent. So I notified the Dallas courthouse and they said there is something that can be done about this. We received our last violation at 11pm last night by security on the violation it says in Louri's handwriting that she spoke to Haley but she never spoke to Haley about any of this. She also wrote on there that we have excessive children here and my girlfriend needs to stop babysitting but that is her side job and how she makes money so I called the city about this issue as well and was told that we don't have enough kids over here for Louri to tell us we have excessive kids over here. Mind you, you can't get into any trouble when the majority of these kids are related to us and the city of Dallas said if they are related to y'all then there is nothing anyone can do. So I have made 3 copies of all my violations even the one that should have been removed but never was. Also the man that came out from the city of Dallas was just here and took pictures of everything in our apartment that was considered a hazard and said he doesn't understand how they even pass inspection with everything that's hazardous here. I have called the police and had them come out due to our neighbors starting drama/fights with us so there are police reports also that I have documented. I will take all steps necessary before I am harassed again.

This is the worst place ever!!!! The manager Lori is nothing more than a "Fat Oompa loompa". She is very unprofessional and messy. Although, the office sign says,"open" during office hour she is never there. She come on rent day and if you don't get it in her hand by 4 pm it is considered late. She will get someone hurt or killed with her lies. She tried forcing us to sign a new lease and because we didn't sign she had my car towed the same night. That day she told me to sign the lease and i told her i had to wait for my wife get off work to see what she wanted to do, so Lori told me don't come to me when ur cars get towed and handed me a visitor's pass that i filled out and placed in the window .(i was parked in visitors parking where she told me to park) Lori had my car towed that night. We had been here for a year and never so much as seen a tow truck. She group up with another tenant who husband works as maintenance to gossip about other tenants. Lori and this tenants husband have been stealing from the company they over purchase materials for repairs and take it back to Home Depot to pocket the money. Upon, moving in we was out of air for almost 2weeks in 100 degree weather. She gave window units out to those she chose and lied a couple days later saying the city was coming out to do inspection and removed them from all units except her and her friend units. She charged me $200 for 2 parking stickers when they should have been included in the lease. We should have known better because she said cash only what apartments do tthat??? Unheard of. Roaches and snakes. They never clean the air vents. My apartment flooded and they never replaced sheet rock nor flooring. The whole ceiling fell in while taking a shower they half fixed. She blamed us for a door that had been previously kicked in by God knows what or who. She is a complete racist but will welcome money. She sides with other tenants when called racial names. Tenants throwed beer on me while walking through the breeze way. Maintenance are pedifilers. They are very disrespectful towards women. Oh!!! Did i mention these apartments are full of black mold. I suffered mulitple upper respiratory problems. SAVE UR SELF!!!! They are scammers and slummmmm Lords!!! The changed the name and address. How do you go from 510 Westmount a 2800 something. West Davis????? Crazy
