Capital One Bank - CLOSED

Too much hassle for cashing a check just because I was from out of state. Only thing left for them to ask me was to show my birth certificate! Seriously when other banks have no issue with just two forms of ID. Literally took 35 minutes

Horrible bank and incompetent personnel. We will be moving our money to another bank asap. My sister and I lost our mother and tried to put our name on dad's checking account. Was told to get power of attorney. Did that, was told it was wrong power of attorney form. I was never told to get a specific kind. Had to bring my 94 year old disabled dad to the Dowlen location and still ended up on his savings account... not checking as we asked. Were told to bad, gotta drive the old guy back up here to deal with it. His million+ is going to another bank asap. Ridiculous.
