My first visit to Dr.Petersons office was a great blessing!! Everyone was very courteous, professional, and answered my questions so that I was able to fully understand.

I was Dr Daniel Peterson January 2019. In the year of 2017 he fused my neck C5 C6 C7 but he told me about another one that needed fusion I dont know why he didnt do all of them at one time so I didnt have to come back. I started having more pain because of C7 and T1 so I went back to him. And the first thing I had was MRI then a nerve test with the needles then he wanted a mylogram a spinal tap. I didnt understand what that was. He never suggested that before but I trusted him. Dont trust him Dr Peterson was in the process of opening his own practice for those of you who dont know a doctor gets two thousand dollars for those dangerous procedures. He would not start getting insurance for awhile. So the doctor who did the procedure was negligent and I was hurt really bad. Now my spine burns from the waste down. I was diagnosed and treated for Arachnoiditis please google it. You suffer unbearable pain but you never die but wished you would. I have wanted to meet with him to allow him to explain to me why he would prescribe that dangerous procedure. I am a disabled veteran and suffer ptsd and TBI from a car accident. So I didnt understand the risks. I am hoping that by sharing this with you you wont make the same mistake as I did by trust your doctors. Hoping my heart would stop hurting. Also you cant sue your doctor because they are protected by laws. Please dont see him. He doesnt care about you cause he certainly dont care about me.

Was referred here by my attending PA for a second opinion. Filled out all 3 forms prior to the visit (which includes a scan of my insurance card), as well as gave my insurance info to them over the phone. They said everything was good for my appointment. Drove 1 1/2 hours in the rain and heavy traffic all the way through Austin, had my CD images and report ready (which took extra trips to my local hospital), only to be told they don't accept my insurance. Then drove all the way back in the rain and heavy traffic. If an organization is so inept to be unable to actually look at the information you provide several days in advance, I'm not sure I'd want them anywhere near my spine. (2 stars instead of one, since he had a sound referral.)

Dr. Peterson has been my Nuerosurgeon since 2018 and he is the most competent, kind, personable, and skilled Surgeon I have ever known and used. He has done 2 neck surgeries and 2 lower back surgeries all were successful and I had no problems afterwards. He has an amazing staff of Nurses, and his PA is the best I have ever met. I have recommended many friends and relatives and every single one of them agree that he is the BEST Central Texas has to offer. Not only that, but Dr. Peterson listens, and he is thoughtful and understanding. I wish i could find a PCP like Dr Peterson, but so far i havent !!! he is a one of a kind person that I believe God gave him the gifts to heal peoples injurys but he also helped heal my soul. I lost my dear father during all of these surgeries and then my sweet mother, Dr. petersons entire staff remembered this and everytime they see me they ask how the family is doing, and they remember my name... ! Dont be in pain, dont settle for just anyone with a scapel, call Dr. peterson and I promise you will be so happy you did. Very Respectfully, Leslie G (Austin texas)
