Shakti Power Yoga

My wife and I did a sculpt class and two power flow classes here. The staff is super friendly and many of them take each others classes. Great vibe, challenging classes (not the hardest but not the easiest), rentals for mats and towels, very clean bathrooms. If I were to ding them for anything, it would be weight selection (max of 5 lb dumbbells) and class variety (nearly all were power flow with very few sculpts). Kelly and Gilbert were excellent instructors. Lizs power flow was not as tough as Gilberts, and we didnt work up as much of a sweat. Liz also chose to correct my warrior two foot placement during class - which is totally fine - but then said something like its been bothering me all class - which felt a little unnecessary.

When i first moved to Nashville, I was pumped but totally apprehensive, so I decided to pick a few things, one of the things was a Yoga studio. I looked and saw the name "SHAKTI POWER YOGA". I knew intuitively that this was my place. Since I moved here, Shakti has become a home and a place where I have found myself. Shakti is a place where you elevate your being, it is not just a yoga studio, coming to Shakti has allowed my whole life to open up and has elevated the presence i feel here in Nashville. Shakti is a home, it's a spiritual healer, it's a place to practice yoga, it's super fun and there are places for all people no matter what skill level. I highly recommend Shakti to anyone visiting Nashville or living here or even as a virtual studio to attend. Come play with us! Thank you Kelly and Lauren for your steadfast and totaly chill presence. You make Nashville a place I like living.
