I came into the emergency room because I was having an allergic reaction and was going into Anaphylaxis shock, my allergy is life threatening and i explained that to them hoping there would be a sense of urgency. I sat and waited for so long that I actually considered risking it and driving to a different ER. I told the doctors multiple times I couldnt breathe and they didnt do anything. Finally they got me back and gave me meds, but the nurses were EXTREMELY passive aggressive and rude towards me. They left me sitting in a half room with another random man and didnt check on me for an hour. I am extremely disappointed in this ER. If you want good service and patient care GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

On Feb 9, 2024 I took my sister to Park West ER. Her PC doctor called and told us to take her , as her blood work showed she may be in liver failure. So began the most horrible experience I have ever experienced at any ER. She had a Stroke several months ago and her physical condition was getting worse.I will not go into all the details as some of it is my sisters personal information. However I can honestly say the nursing staff on this day were the most unprofessional, uncaring and most disgusting group of medical personnel I have even experienced. No concern for my sisters care or comfort at all . No blanket/pillow. Incomplete health work up. Asking for water or ice chips, nothing.Kept being told there is nothing in her record yet. I have to say the ER doctor was nice. After 18 hours in the ER she was admitted. Once she was in her hospital room the nurses on the 3rd floor were extremely helpful. My question to management is why is the ER so deplorable, but the care in the hospital is good. Is it management, quality of nursing, or just not caring. I understand the struggle of the health care system since Covid, but you have to know how horrible your ER department is. Now do something to correct this problem. With a 1.7 rating I dont think you should wait much longer. Highly recommended never use the ER at Park West.

I've had two experiences with the ER now and two admissions as a result of those ER visits. Both I would rate as 5 stars with only minor issues. Wait time the first time was bit long and the second time was better but still didn't get moved upstairs til many hours later. But my case was minor compared to some they were treating so it's understood. Clarissa, a nurse in the ER is EXCEPTIONAL. I wish there was a way exceptional staff could be recognized or commended by patients.

i cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unsafe this facility is. the staff is incompetent at every level. every staff member was truly careless, grossly negligent, and seemingly had absolutely no care for the health and wellbeing of the patients. to say this facility is run by children would be an insult to children everywhere.
