We moved into a house that the main source of heat was propane. We called Amerigas and they were the cheapest. It took them over a month to come out. Than when I got my invoice it was different from what they promised at the time of purchase(they took so long that propane went up in price). So I paid my debt and didnt go back. A little later they automatically put in a propane delivery without my approval. When I contacted them I said to cancel the order that I never put in and to delete my account cause I would not be going with them anymore due to all the issues we had. Now they want to bill us for $164 to cancel our account as a early termination fee when we never agreed on a contract or anything. I am never going back to them.

I have been in need of talking to a manager for weeks, they sent my 88 year old father a$ 490.00 bill for gas he didnt get. First off my dad owns his tank. When prices went up I called Amerigas and told them Not to deliver to his address. We bought gas from Combustion Gas out of Mcewen Tn. They filled his Tank in November and. January the 11th. They returned February 10th and checked his tank and it was still 65% full. Amerigas said they filled his tank on February 24th and put in over 150 gallons. For one thing they werent supposed to be delivering and another thing there is no way they could put that much gas in. The first woman I talked to must not have done her job and cancelled the account. And then I had a horrible time as his power of attorney for them to talk to me. Which he told them it was ok. They must never put anything down on the computer. And the owner/manager NEVER returned my call. And now I will probably have to take it to small claims court to get it taken care of. And my dad ALWAYS pays any driver on delivery. And Amerigas Never left a bill with my dad or in the door. What a disaster to deal with. People I urge you to go somewhere else.

I would be a new customer with AmeriGas if they would ever deliver. I've spoken with four different people at the company over the past 3 weeks. Every time I was "assured" that I would get a phone call and an apt. I have yet to receive any calls from them. I guess they're doing good enough to not need new business. I'm looking elsewhere.

We ran out of propane right before it got really cold (less than 20). We gave Amerigas a call and we were told we would be put on a priority call list to get someone out immediately. (Propane is a main way we heat our home). The weekend and the freezing temperatures came and we still didnt get a call. We then called again on Monday and were again told we would be called that day or Tuesday. We didnt hear anything. We then called again and were told the same thing. It is now Friday (more than two weeks from our original call) and we still have not heard ANYTHING from this company. We do not recommend them because they will not communicate with you. Unfortunately, We need propane because its the winter so well have to take our business elsewhere.
