Hertz Car Rental - Lovell Field Airport

Hertz Car Rental - Lovell Field Airport is discriminating against me for no reason. I understand this is a private business and it can do as it pleases but I have no tickets, I have a valid driver license, I have credit cards with more than enough credit to cover the cost and the $400 hold, and I have never had a car accident in a rental car so the only other conclusion is that it is something about me that this location doesnt like and doesnt agree with about me to put me on a dont rent to list. Hertz Rental Corporation says I am not on any dont rent list but this location does and the corporate office doesnt know why but they said they could put me on a dont rent list because they are private. Also, I dont smoke or drink.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Not helpful at all and very rude. Do not use Hertz ever.

I recently had the displeasure of renting a car from Hertz DBA Dollar Rent a Car, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. During my journey, the car air condition suddenly quit working, Concerned for the safety of me and family, since I was in Florida , I immediately pulled over and contacted the rental company for assistance. To my dismay, their response was utterly unhelpful. The representative, Athena, I spoke to seemed indifferent to my situation, offering no guidance or support whatsoever. Instead, she simply told me to there was nothing they could do for me and and gave me the run around resulting in her pawning me off to Lisa. Feeling abandoned and frustrated, I tried to assess the situation myself, but with no luck. Not only did this cause a significant delay in my travel plans, but it also incurred additional expenses that I should not have had to bear. Even more infuriating is the fact that when I reached out to Hertz DBA Dollar Rent a Car afterwards to request a refund or compensation for the inconvenience and expenses incurred due to their faulty vehicle, Lisa offered to take off 20%. That was $110 and some change. Like that would fix me being down in Florida without AC when I had a child and senior citizen with me. It's appalling how they refuse to take responsibility for their negligence and lack of customer service. I had to drive their faulty car back to Chattanooga TN where I initially rented it because NO ONE could fix my problem. Overall, my experience with Hertz DBA Dollar Rent a Car was a complete disaster. Their disregard for customer safety and satisfaction is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against anyone using their services. Save yourself the headache and choose a rental company that actually cares about its customers.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience and I had to share it! I got screwed at National Car Rental because they changed their credit card deposit to $400 and i didnt have the credit. I went over to Hertz in tears about my vacation practically being canceled because of what happened and the Hertz ladies worked fast to get me as much help as they could. No deposit, a real nice car, unlimited miles, no sales pushed, and best of all it took probably less than 10 minutes to get the car. After that, i had to add a day of my trip and the customer service reps were fantastic AND fast as well. Then i ended up arriving early and they provided my a refund of my day with no problems. I am very appreciative, never renting from anyone else again except Hertz.
