I put a item on layaway, called to let them know on a Friday I will be picking up today on February 13th, 2024. They put the item back out for sale.. I purchase a lot of goods from this pawnshop. Worst pawnshop, as much business in purchasing I do at Pawn With Us.

Severely overpriced on some items up to 3 times buying new at any retail store in Rapid City. While only offering as little as $0.20 on dollar when someone is selling. I would be more inclined to shop there if the prices were reasonable. This is an update to my review. I lowered my star rating with Pawn with us because of the owner's response along with a personal encounter with management. They under no circumstances work with possible new customers that want to bring their money there to purchase anything. I said to him that I am a buyer and want to purchase some items from them but am only willing to pay as much as new but no more. He quickly informed me that I know nothing of what I talk about and then told me that he makes these sales more often than a notable company in Rapid City does when the particular item is what that company is exclusively in business to sell. I highly recommend not doing any kind of business here because they are extremely rude and take things to a level that borders discriminatory. I surely hope that this company understands the competition for their business is excessive in Rapid City and that treating customers poorly the way they do is not a good business practice. The 2 stars is only because the image of the store is professional and very unlike the employees.
