Went to the ER there horrible experience

I went to Baptist to help my allergic reaction. After sitting in a chair for a while I told them I needed meds. Wheezing and bleeding all over the place I needed treatment and it never came at Prisma Baptist Hospital. Additionally, the doctor's note saying I received treatment was also wrong. I received a $500 bill for signing into the ER while receiving zero treatment and had to self-treat in my car. The doctor's note was wrong about my treatment received which I believe is fraud. This is not healthcare, it's sponging off vulnerable people who are looking for help. I never received help, but I have the bill for it. If I ever have a severe reaction again, I know not to go to Baptist ER - I'm better off self-treating and hoping for the best. My recommendation to anyone else is to go to an outside network. MUSC or Lexington locally. Not giving treatment and falsifying the doctors note is fraud. Plain and simple. Dont go to Baptist, choose a different ER if you are having a healthcare scare.

I received nothing but prompt and courteous service every time Ive visited the ER, however Ill never understand why the nurses and health professionals think its ok to use foul and provocative language in ear shot of patients. The last thing I want to hear while waiting in pain is a personal conversation between nurses out loud. I know more about their personal lives than I should.

I never post reviews except for once. I give Dr Davis more than 3, she seemed concerned and we as patients appreciate such. Keep moving forward young lady, ER is just the beginning
