We had a good experience here. We took my 1 yr old son for what turned out to be pneumonia. While the wait for test results was a bit lengthy, the staff was incredibly kind, professional and efficient. Our PRN Kyerah was the absolute sweetest with our little guy and she made a hard night for him a little bit easier!

I went to this ER today, my BP was elevated and I had acute severe stomach pain and nausea in the middle of the previous night, a dull headache for 4 days(very unusual for me!) and intermittent chest pain. In addition to being awakened in a full on panic attack! Signed in and waited, as I knew I would have to do. I witnessed elderly patients with breathing problems, one in a wheelchair crying in pain. Treated so nonchalantly. One patient almost crawled in before being offered a wheelchair, in obvious distress and severe pain, rapid breathing and requesting a vomit bag and she was HANDED a small assessment form to fill out! She was told that the patient care desk would come back by and get the form. She informed them she had pancreatitis. The patient was writhing in pain and was trying to return the for and not a single employee offered to help. A kind man, who was also a patient, ask to help her and she was so grateful and he returned the form, for her. She vomited numerous times and finally another patient went and got her a new bag and asked one of the staff to please take her other one and dispose of it and he, the patient helping the patient, was told just take it from her and put it in any trash can and they would get it later !!!! All 6-8 of the rest of us patients in the waiting area about fell out of our seats. This ER needs to hire staff that truly care about the patients. The staff are incompetent and incredibly non compassionate. I write this in hopes that someone who cares will see it and do something about this sad and scary situation. After 4 hours of waiting and listening to the front desk staff talk about previous incidents and wanting to curse a patients out, I left. I am truly embarrassed by the lack of support and compassion and communication from the staff that I encountered. And just so you know, these are just 3 examples that I saw. There were more but I pray that you get my point!!
