Yeah, this place is brutal. Ive actually had to go to the office in order to get prescriptions refilled because they simply dont call back.

For one, I do not know how the front desk workers are employed anywhere, let alone a medical facility. They NEVER want to answer the phone. They are literally doing NOTHING. I sat there and watched it numerous times. Then I come in 9 minutes late to an appointment, that I'm sure I would have to wait around longer than that, to be seen. Then she walks away and comes back, makes up a lie that I came in later, and it wasn't even that time yet, while I was standing there. Then she proceeded to tell me that my appointment that I had to wait months for had to be canceled since it was a 15 minute appointment. How an appointment is only 15 minutes is beyond me. They have no sense of customer service. Believe it or not, you get better customer service at Walmart. Which I don't think these front desk ladies would even qualify for.

Their immoral prioritizing of patient retention &/ not having to lift a damn finger for anyone cost my 8 yo months of medical neglect, suffering, and above all else, PAIN from what couldn't be diagnosed or treated until her medical records were sent to her new (better) pediatrician who's NOT associated with Crozer or Prospect Medical Holdings. Within a week of them finally sending her records to her new pediatrician, and ONLY after screwing me around both on the phone and in person dozens of times, she was diagnosed and properly treated and alleviated of her pain and suffering. Who'da thunk it was something so obvious to diagnose and easy to treat based on her past history? Crozer doesn't care. Crozer just wants to use you, and apparently YOUR KIDS, as cash cows to fund their ever deepening greed. Seriously. Look up Prospect Medical Holdings online, it's the company owning Crozer and using illness, disability, pain & suffering as their personal bank accounts.

You absolutely do not want to come here. I am dropping Family Health Of Springfield today. I have been there for 3 years and I have only see my PCP one time.
They operate as a business first and a practice second. At every visit, I am asked a health questionnaire by the nurse. Then, the doctor will ask me the same exact questionnaire again. Shouldnt the doctor already know? Its already been inputted into my file. The doctor should also be informed by what I told the nurse. The nurses and doctors are obviously not communicating with each other on my needs. The questionnaires also have nothing to do with my list of symptoms. They just want to see which additional services I can be billed for.
I have also noticed every time I complete an appointment with Springfield Family Of Health, I will receive several spam calls the same day and next day. It appears my information is being sold to data brokers.
The doctors are also typical rude. Today was enough. I was attempting to explain my symptoms to this new doctor and he rudely responded with What does that have to do with anything?! I thought he was joking. So again, he reasserted himself with the same tone and same question, What does that have to do with anything?. I was stunned by the disrespect.
Finally, all of the doctors are extremely by the book. They are going to ignore your concerns.
I highly recommend going elsewhere.

As countless others have already stated, it's extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone, regardless of the day of the week and time. Also, when you have lab tests done, you are on your own to self-diagnose via their portal, as they have stopped calling to go over the results. Imagine my anxiety learning via a website portal than my liver enzymes are very high and two days later still no explanation or prognosis. I will say that most of their physicians and support staff are very competent, however; with an office run so inefficiently, and evidently being woefully understaffed, it only hurts patients like me. Getting back to the physicians, I can only recall two negative experiences. 1) One of the female, non-resident physicians, who has been there for at least several years, is clearly burned-out and was unpleasant to deal with. 2) A very young female physician pushed me hard to begin taking a statin, which I personally feel are like poison. When I very reluctantly agreed, she wound up putting me on a very high dose, which has made me ill. I'm tempted to name names, but I shall refrain from doing so. Once my insurance changes at the end of 10/2023, I'm moving on to a practice with an overall rating much higher than 2.3 / 5.
