Today (Dec. 5, 2017) Melanie Niemeyer in Asset Management came to the Barcelona Apts. in Beaverton to conduct what was to be a random inspection of 20% of 47 units here. The inspection was not random at all but fraudulently labeled as such. It was targeted and discriminatory to my residence as my fiance and I are of protected class including ADA. There is a pending federal housing investigation against the owners IPM Property Management, CPAH, and City of Beaverton for discrimination. Melanie made hostile references to the heat in our unit, Christmas presents and our decor, "Where you gonna put the tree"!!?, when our unit is very small, accused us of not allowing maintenance to enter to make repairs, and continued with implied threats to "Move out if you don't like it here! She even began taking pictures of our home inside and was lookijng for reasons to find violations to which there were none. We have never committed any violations but it was obvious the inspection was fraudulent in nature, with a scripted conspiracy and all the above parties were engaging in collusion. All of them are white; she continued to behave disrespectfully, full of prejudice obviously planted to harass us making us uncomfortable in our home. We also advised Melanie that the property manager, Colleen Hayes from IPM, broke and entered our home stealing our complete large Barcelona files/folder from our file cabinet, and other items, and she has unlawfully entered other units. Melanie did not care but continued on relentlessly with her racist, egregious interrogation of us. It was overtly obvious of her unlawful intentions this day and meanwhile Colby Bradley, Asset Manager of CPAH, Colleen Hayes (property manager, IPM), and Hillary Winslow, Portfolio Manager of IPM stood outside our door chuckling, giggling and laughing noticeably so we could see them in more efforts of ganging up and racketeering with their unlawful bigotry and intimidation. I advised Melanie that ADA accommodations were denied our ignored; her response was "Well, you won't let them in"! - which was another lie. The requests were made many months, over a year ago and have not been accommodated. An outside maintenance workman came in a few werks ago and made repairs we had requested many months ago. She did not review my file apparently, or ask me any questions for if she had she would have known the truth. Instead she continued to dictate and punish us with accusations not in evidence, and her relentless most unprofessional behavior. These white property managers/owners in Oregon including N.E.F. behave as if they are above the law and when we submit a valid complaint, instead of changing their behavior, they persist with even more egregiously discriminatory, unlawful conduct to which we have to work harder. We have notified HUD of the horrible, hate-filled experience today. Much of it was retaliation by CPAH/IPM where N.E.F. hastily and with much intensity, jumped aboard not reviewing all facts or educating themselves of the validity of the situation. The more I attempted to inform her, the more aggressive and attacking she became, typical racist behavior here in Oregon [esp. housing] exhibted by white abusers in housing targeting persons of color and those of protected classes. She and the rest of the quad did not inspect any other unit on our floor except our unit; the other units occupied by white residents. They all bee-lined our home with malice aforethought. She lied by claiming to be on [their] way to inspect other units close to ours but never did. We have contacted the company's headquarters and reported Melanie and this Portland office. They are close in proximity to IPM, also in Portland. Again, we reported all of them to HUD for obvious discrimination but also unlawful retaliation. Garbage.
