What a pleasant surprise after a week-long trip camping on the coast. Gail was filling in for the owners and answered our call an hour before arriving and told us a room was available on a Friday night. She provided top-notch hospitality, great conversation, and a great breakfast. We loved playing cards on the porch at night and watching a movie in the downstairs theater.
Rooms are nicely decorated. Slept with the windows open in late August. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our brief stay here. The place was beautiful and super clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were lovely. Being on east coast time, I was up early and enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful grounds. The only downside was that this place is a bit out of town. If you want to walk to restaurants, this isnt the place for you, but if you dont mind driving, you can get almost anywhere in Portland in 20-30 minutes and enjoy the secluded feel with easy access to all that Portland has to offer.

We decided we needed a mental break, and spent the last two days at the coziest B&B ever, located in the heart of Milwaukie.
The grounds were astoundingly beautiful, and made us feel like we were hidden away from the world. We booked the Winter Garden suite, and we had the biggest bathroom I've ever had, complete with a coffee cart and fireplace.
The daily breakfast was so delicious, and you could have as much as you wanted. Most of all, we loved the downstairs movie room, where we watched four films in two days.
I'm grateful for the rest and recuperation, the quiet moments, the hot baths, the naps in the canopy bed, and curling up in a cozy chair reading.
