Recently, my company made National/Enterprise/Alamo their most preferred vendor. We cannot use any other vendor unless those rental centers are unavailable. For most locations, I have no issue with this. For this location where I must visit 1-3 times per month, I wish it was not the case.
Although I had an unfavorable experience at this location for a previous location and the same employee assisted with my rental, there was no issue with the rental process. (Technically, the issue was with Enterprise but Enterprise and National are essentially the same.)
Although there were no issues, I gave the stars because it bothered me that I got a car with the knockoff color of my personal vehicle. (I can't stand when people compare my gorgeous Brooklyn Grey to the similar colors that other makers have released, so I was annoyed to drive the rental. I highly doubt they know what car I drive so I have to think it was an unlucky coincidence.) Additionally, I don't like the sluggish acceleration or steering of a Honda. I will soon be in the next tier for National so I look forward to getting better cars.
Update (24 Jul 2023): I was given a black Elantra. Now, it seems intentional.
