I waited for a survey to be emailed, but it didn't happen. Our stay at this hotel was subpar. The desk workers are too busy on their personal cell phones to care about what is going on with their guests. At check in there was no information provided about breakfast, the coffee station, or any of the amenities. Was the pool even open? Where was it?
We had to walk around and try to figure it out ourselves. We had reserved a king bed, as I am 6'7, but upon check in there wasnt one available. We asked if we could get moved the next night, to which the gentleman said yes. The next day to our dismay the next front desk person had no idea what we were talking about. But, she did accommodate us. The beds are so hard you can feel the coils in your back. Neither night that we stayed did we actually enjoy our sleep. Sunday night we decided to venture to a restaurant within the parameters of where the shuttle is aloud to go. The gentleman was down to earth and fun, he dropped us off and we ate. We then contacted the hotel after eating our meal, to which the gentleman at the front desk stated that it would be a little bit. I then asked him what timeframe that I would be looking at, 30 minutes or so? And he stated yes. My fiancee and I waited outside of the restaurant for a shuttle that never showed up. After an hour, I called back and asked how much longer, to which I was told that he did not know because the shuttle driver hadn't returned. We continued to wait, as everything around us was shutting down and being barricaded. She and I contemplated walking, however it is a 5.4 mile distance between the hotel and restaurant. We decided to take a Lyft and paid $18 and waited an additional 30 minutes for it! Noone in the parking lot, but us. We sat outside of the restaurant for approximately 2 hours! Is this how you treat guests? Dont even contact them to let them know what's going on? Noone ever made sure we even made it back to the hotel! I will never stay at this hotel, ever again!
