Kumon Math and Reading Center of DURHAM - UNIVERSITY

My son Samarjit got enrolled in when he started his kindergarten. He started reading only after enrolling here. But now he loves reading and always with the book. Mr. Patel is very supportive and knowledgeable to explain everything in detail explanations with example(like no one will forget their bicycling skills even after years of practice). He doesn't ask my son to slow down instead asked him to focus on his results. With his support and proper guidance only he has completed his reading in less than 5 years and doing his advanced math levels. Not only about kumon, he was there to clarify any kind of doubts I have raised related to studies and kids behavior with kindness. I feel no one could understand my son better than Mr. Patel. We miss you a lot sir and Thank you so much for your support!

We loved Mr. Patel. We started Kumon because our child wanted to learn to read and I wasn't sure how to effectively teach him (and his school wasn't giving us clear guidance at the time). I looked at 2-3 kumons and Mr. Patel had a warm, caring manner and interacted so well with my child!! Over the year we went (stopped due to doing other activities and not having adequate time), my child learned to read independently and confidently, learned two digit addition, and generally learned to focus while performing work. We may not have done the full math and reading for several years, but we saw tremendous benefit and will definitely be back when our younger child is getting ready to get that basic foundation in reading and math. Strongly recommend, specifically Mr. Patel and the staff he works with!!

We have worked with Anish and his team at Kumon of Durham - University for over a year and it has made a huge impact on our daughter's growth and confidence in her math skills. I think the year of online learning during the Covid pandemic was challenging and she started to think she "wasn't good at math." Now she is really liking math class again and is challenging herself to move into the advanced math class! Thanks for all you help and reinforcement of good studying practices.

Great center for learning for kids. Mr. Anish is a very personable instructor and we saw great transformation in our son's math and reading that impacted his school performance. I recommend Kumon
