Bright Horizons at North Durham

Catherine, the director, along with the staff have created a wonderful community. We are thankful and fortunate for all the growth our daughter experienced at the North Durham Bright Horizons.

We've had the best experience at this Bright Horizons and felt so comfortable and welcome throughout our son's time here. The teachers and admin staff are wonderful, the center is thoughtfully laid-out and well-equipped, and the communication and updates throughout the day/week are frequent and helpful. Our son loves it and never wants to leave at the end of the day. We'll miss everyone!

I couldn't recommend this center highly enough! Catherine and her team cultivate such a wonderful and loving environment. We have been at BHND for a little over a year and a half and have been amazed at how much our daughter has learned.

Many awesome things to say about our time at Bright Horizons North Durham! Easy parking, tidy but warm facility, and fun outdoor spaces for the children. The staff and teachers are kind, easy going, helpful, and the children love them! Lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. Healthy lunches and snacks made onsite with great variety. Their schedule is in the sweet spot between structured and freeform. Lots of variety as well - I feel like they were always getting to do new activities. And every week the kids would surprise me with new things they learned. Safe and responsive team. Felt like a community. Highly recommend!

This is an absolutely wonderful daycare center! The leadership and staff are fantastic - my daughter is always happy to go and has developed positive, loving relationships with the adults working here. We have been going to BH North Durham for over a year and I cannot overstate how much she has learned and developed in terms of her vocabulary, social interaction, and accomplishing big toddler milestones. She is consistently exposed to a diverse array of snacks and meals, and her teachers had her sitting in a chair drinking from an open cup before we did at home! The classrooms are bright and well maintained, and there is a nice outdoor space as well without any nearby traffic. This is a great community with genuinely dedicated and responsive educators. I am so thankful we found this little gem when we moved to Durham.
