    I had a horrible visit here yesterday. On the company website, Verizon claims to have social distancing and mask wearing guidelines for both employees and customers. None of the 15 employees or customers had masks, and all but one of the employees refused to put one on when I asked them too. I’m concerned for the safety of the customers and employees working at this small, enclosed location. I ended up leaving because of the rude treatment, but also because I felt like safe and sensible COVID-19 preventative measures were disregarded. I have reported this location to the Verizon parent company, and I hope the employees will continue to implement and respect the safety guidelines in this pandemic. Wearing the masks protects the customers, and as a customer, I expect my safety to be respected when I come into your store. ****update!**** Literally two hours after posting this, John, the area director, called and said that this behavior definitely isn’t company policy, and that he will be on top of finding out why the employees didn’t have masks on. I’m very impressed by Verizon’s fast response to this!

    I have to commend this store for hiring Mr. Ben Friedrichs. He is the FIRST salesperson to NOT complain about helping myself or husband with transferring contacts or exchanging an accessory with no complaining that he was NOT the original salesperson that sold us our new expensive phones. Most other salespersons in other cellular AND corporate Verizon stores do NOT want to take the time out of their day to help you in anyway possible if they weren't the original sales person to receive the commission that salesperson received! I get it! I'm a 100% sales commissioned salesperson myself, but it is NOT good business practice to turn a customer away just because you weren't the original selling salesperson. In short, Mr. Friedrichs was accommodating, friendly, helpful and above all had a great personable attitude of one wanting to please a customer. I'm very appreciative for his assistance and patience in trying to satisfy me (a 30 year customer of Verizon!) Thank you Ben, and YOU will be the only rep my husband and I will every upgrade with in the future. I'll be glad to recommend you to anyone in the future for any phone needs or assistance. My advice to Verizon Cellular Sales is to promote this young man, he deserves it - but not to the point that I can't purchase my new phones from him, lol - I need to know I have the comfort of calling on him when I need him!
