I had a staycation here post surgery. My friends and I were upgraded to a double connecting room. Eli, our front desk clerk was cordial and genuine.
Fantastic service, wonderful and filling breakfast, and the rooms were immaculate with amazing shower pressure. The complimentary toiletries were a treat.
Although the location was convenient and accessible to restaurants and other other eateries its location was not noisy.
Rooms: Refer to my description paragraph.
Walkability: Definitely walkable.
Food & drinks: Really clean and restful breakfast buffet.

Came here for my bday and i must say the experience wasnt that bad. The rooms was super little. Like a kids bedroom. And i didnt like that not one bit. I felt like i was in a box. They only had two rags in the room. They had me waiting over 45 mins for extra rags. The breakfast experience was pretty good. The waiter was kind. I was happy they plant based sausages.
The bar area was cute. They have a market at the corner which was cute. The places we went to wasnt far from the hotel. They dont have a garage and its a public one that was like 50 dollars to park a night. It was crazy. But we made the best out of it. Wouldnt stay here again because the price and room size dont match.

My flight home was canceled and I had to stay another night in NYC. I looked for the closest hotel to La Guardia with the best combo of rates and reputation. When I say that Hilton Garden Inn - Long Island exceeded my expectations, I am not kidding. I walked in soaking wet after a questionable rideshare experience, and my day was completely turned around. From the folks at check-in to the bartender to the morning crew, I received nothing but five-star service at this hotel. The team was welcoming, friendly, and clearly cared about creating an inviting experience for guests. While I hope my future flight cancellations are limited, I will absolutely stay at this hotel should I find myself in this situation again.
