He is the worst doctor and has the worst front desk. I dont recommend anyone to come. He treated my brother with the absolute worst care and is a shame how they treat people. He should not be anyones doctor and especially not mine. The front personnel treats the front desk like a dog. If you want to make yourself sick then please visit Doctor Kantu.

I took my father to see Dr. Kantu at his Bay Ridge office today, April 22, 2021 for his 1pm appointment. The doctor is not even available on Thursdays because it turns out he is at the hospital on Thursdays but they still made the appointment for him to see the doctor on Thursday. They never mentioned this at the time my dad made the appointment nor did they tell us this when we got there. They told my dad this once he asked for the doctor, which was almost an 1.5hrs into his appointment. There is a nurse practitioner that handles all of this. In addition, the nurse practitioner prescribes the medication. I was under the impression that only doctors were authorized to prescribe medication. Since when do nurse practitioners prescribe medicine? Lastly, the entire staff is rude and do not like to be questioned as to why they continue to make appointments knowing full well that the doctor is not in the office on Thursdays. Heed my advice and stay away. I would give them zero stars if I could.

This is the worst doctor I ever see I came to his office with my sinus problem and my cat skin report . He made a copy and told me that I have to do hearing and allergy test Its was good and I ask him what the problem with my sinuses. He cant find the copy of my report and told me that I have to come again in his office to see his son .for what? Just to take money from my insurance I am not recommend this doctor

I guess Ill never find out if Dr. Kantu is an amazing doctor or not because I cant get an appointment to see him. I have an appt scheduled for tomorrow and they called me today saying its gonna be his nurse practitioner & not him. Theres no need for me to see an NP when I already know for sure I need a procedure done by a doctor. I called to reschedule and they gave me a date in January (after I already waited 3 weeks for this appointment...) when I asked the receptionist to explain my situation to the doctor so he can understand seeing an NP in my case isnt logical she said no sorry I cant... lol... what do u mean u cant ???
