Avoid Dollar Rent A Car at the Las Vegas Airport at all costs! My wife booked the car a month in advance, then when I went to pick it up they tricked me into Loss Damage Waiver insurance. They are extremely sneaky with the wording, I've rented dozens of cars over the years and never had issues but this place is predatory. The guy made it sound like I was signing (on a small digital signature pad) to decline the insurance, which is what I wanted to do- apparently I was signing to accept it. I did notice the total price wasn't correct before I left the counter and pointed it out and was told "oh thw price is just higher from the security deposit, that wont get billed". 1 hour later, after leaving the rental car place, I had a chance to review the charges in detail and saw they billed me for unwanted insurance- we immediately called Dollar Corperate and explained what happened, they agreed that it was incorrect and told us that it would get refunded when we returned the car- we were given an agent name and reference number. However we we returned the car and attempted to speak to the desk agents we were met with 30 minutes of extensive stone walling, refusal to help, refusing to even look up our account, they wouldn't even attempt to call the corporate office, THEN they called security and lied and claimed I was threatening them. Luckily the security guy was sensible and saw that I was just standing there on my phone trying to get my rental figured out and didn't side with them. After 30 minutes on hold with corporate I was able to get the fraudulent card refunded no thanks to the counter people. I should note that while I was standing there to resolve all this I heard them pulling the same LDW sales scam on other people. AVIOD THESE THEIVES.

Waited in line for a good 45 minutes to do the rental agreement. Then had to wait over an hour in the parking ramp before we got a car. The car we got was dirty and smelled awful!

Ok so we reserved a car weeks ago and arrived here in Vegas . We were informed they have no cars!!! They took the reservation but apparently dont know how to hold the reservation. We told them , to call us when the car is ready. They said, we need to wait in the garage for 3-4 hours !! Really?! Unreal !!! The car lot is literally empty!!! Wont be reserving with them again and you shouldnt either how do i give zero or negative stars??!!!

We prepaid for our rental 2 months ago! Got here and they had no cars. The rude counter clerk had the nerve to say you have 24 hours to pick up your car. Maam we paid for today. This happened to us last year and we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because no other Dollar has ever done this but nope! We are here with our kids and no car! Unacceptable!
