My first impression was WOW. THE first home I was in was a dump. Glennon place 128n Hardesty. Roaches every where you walk.

Someone I care about was living there. They dont regularly clean out the gutters, so rain puddles up in front of resident doorways. A leak issue flooded out the carpeted lobby, the repair... towels and sheets were placed on the carpet for weeks. I can only imagine the mold issues to come. They were without a washing machine for almost a month and told to go to other buildings. The bushes in front of the resident doors, are not maintained by hidden lake staff. The residents have to rake up leaves, trim bushes, and whatever little grass they may have. Homeless people have been an issue, camping out in some buildings, taking showers in the community lobby areas, washing their clothes. The security there is absent. I would strongly deter anyone from living there.

In addition to long term nursing care, Hidden Lake has many buildings just for 55+ senior apartments that are very nice and spacious, with each building including a common area for family get-togethers and a laundry room. All residences are first floor, no second floor. All kitchenettes are fully equipped. Ample and convenient parking. The facility are all very close to a nice lake where ducks and geese are in abundance. Many people fish from the shore. Plus all utilities are included in the rent, no cost to tenant.
