For the price of about $70 we got a suite with a bed, couch, sink and counter, mini-fridge (40" high), and microwave. It worked well for us for a 3 day stay to go to Mayo. The downsides of this place are that if you have an adjoining room door, you hear much of what goes on in the next room. Hope for quiet neighbors after 10PM, which we had. The breakfast for all 3 days was biscuits and gravy (no eggs), waffles via the famous hotel waffle-maker, yogurt, bananas and apples, and packaged items. Will fill you up, but not my style. I made my own breakfasts though so it was no big deal. It was nice for the price!

I simply stopped in at this Microtel Inn & Suites as it serves as a pick up point for the Rochester Express to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. I stopped in to lobby and was greeted by a delightful front desk receptionist who invited me to help myself to a cup of coffee in the breakfast room. She was very personable and charming and I would be perfectly satisfied to lodge in this motel if the staff treat the patrons as well as I was treated while not even being a guest. On that note, my positive rating must be balanced somewhat beneath the reviews of those individuals who have spent their funds as customers.

We always stay here when we go to Mayo and never have issues. This time was terrible. The toilet would run every 10-15 minutes, the fridge would make a loud clicking noise, people were screaming and pounding on doors all night. When we booked our room we asked for a fan in our room, but when we got there we were told they were all given out. We have to come to the Mayo next week, we booked a different hotel.
