TCF Bank

Business account has had continuous issues. They’ve asked me to verify my address 5+ times. I’ve done so each time. This time however they decided to close my account with no notice. When I went into the branch they said the reason was because I needed to fill out paperwork & bring in verification that I initially brought in over a year ago when the account was opened. I tried explaining to Duy Nguyen (a asian male with his hair standing up on his head) the situation, but apparently it was too busy inside of TCF for him to listen. He spoke very rudely, he didn’t make me feel valued, and I honestly feel discriminated against. (Yes I’m the president of the business and I’m black.) The business needs to run and currently we have no account & no answers. Duy N. the supervisor told me that “although I was told yesterday that my account would be good to go that, that information isn’t true.” “They ( I’m not even sure who they are) need more business days to verify what you signed.” “Even then I can’t say that you will be good!” I’ve banked with TCF for years, but after this I will be finding somewhere else for personal & business banking. Horrible customer service & super confused customer! I wish I could rate NO STARS!
