Not sure if it's the merger, or COVID, but with only 2 drive thru lanes open and no walk up service. It literally takes 25 minutes to bank, consistently Not worth the time.

TCF is an absolute joke! I log in tonight, only to find my account overdrawn. I NEVER USE this account. And this is the exact reason why. I paid my Apple Card via Apple Cash, my cell bill and I had a ZERO dollar Venmo verification. There was enough money to pay apple, then the cell payment over drew it by 59.00. What does TCF do? They charge me THREE 37.00 fees. One for the ZERO Venmo authorization, one for the Apple charge (which cleared as there was money in there), and one for the cell bill payment. My debit card is supposed to decline when there isn’t enough money. And how in the hell do you get charged a $37.00 fee for a ZERO dollar authorization? TCF is engaging in “stacking” the transactions. I’m closing my account tomorrow and filing complaints with various agencies, including the MI attorney general and CFPB. Fraudulent practices to say the least.
