Avoid at all costs! You will absolutely not get your moneys worth! Sales staff and building supervisor are excellent and do the very best they can with the poor product they're working with. The problem with Robertson Bro. is that they contract out all the work to the lowest possible bidders and it absolutely shows in the finished product. I finally caved in after three walk throughs and closed. After only a week in my new house, I continually find things that are of such low grade craftsmanship that it's truly disappointing.

We purchased a new construction home from Robertson and have lived there for almost a year. So far we are pretty happy with the house, in spite of some issues (e.g., really sloppy grouting of tile in the bathroom, tons of construction debris buried in the yard, poor water pressure, etc.). The reason for a 3-star review is Robertson's really poor customer service. Almost all aspects of working with Robertson ranged from frustrating to downright unpleasant. The sales staff was misleading about what lots would be available and when. The process of picking finishes was made incredibly difficult because Robertson is incredibly vague about how much each "level" of upgrade will cost. The warranty representative was really difficult to meet with and downright rude. I could go on, but the short story is that the company has a very adversarial and unpleasant approach to working with their clients. If they would just be a bit less arrogant and unpleasant, and would take a few simple quality control measures, then I would recommend them. I hope they can improve on these fronts. I don't think it would be that hard to do, but they would need to start from a point of being honest and kind.
