What a surprise when you leave the car clean overnight with Hertz's confidence and the next day you receive $ 400 in fees because they smelled of smoke in the car. I'm really interested in how non-smokers can make a car smell smoke. I really need an explanation! It may be because your business goes bankrupt and you need the money, right ?!

The general experience was good till we drop off the car (after hours) and has been charged with 400 dollars of cleaning fee (smoke) according to the bill even if nobody smoke in the car or even during the location day. I think they take advantage of us not being able to be there during the check out to charge a 400 dollars fee that we couldn t contradict because none of us could attend the checkout. Not a good way to make your customers come back

Everything would have been good, but I had a misfortune to prepay my reservation with a debit card. As a result, in the local office, they could neither add info on a credit card to the reservation, no cancel the reservation. At the end, I had to make a new reservation with a promise that the initial payment is going to be reimbursed directly from the local office, not from the central office of Hertz. More than two weeks passed, no reimbursement received, the phone that I was given for inquiries is not responding, not clear what to do.
