Animal Exchange

Ruth is an amazing champion and resource for all owners of small mammals and their owners. Our two peace doves began reproducing quite frequently and she would guide us, give advice for each hatchling and help us find a new home for them. It gave us great comfort and made it possible for us to be bird breeders for a few years !!

I am a small animal breeder and this is the only place I'll sell animals too other than personal homes. I breed mice rats rabbits and hamsters. I can gaurantee that all animals here are well bred and loved before even entering the store!

A friend of mine bought a guinea pig here (I was with the friend on the shipping trip) and was told that it was two weeks old, healthy and typically drinks a half liter of water a day. It drank an order of magnitude less than that, was in poor health, was clearly considerably more than two weeks old, and died within a month. I am reasonably certain my friend cared for the guinea pig properly as my friend has two others -- both from a national chain and about three times as expensive (I wonder why Animal Exchange's was so cheap...?) -- that are healthy and playful.
