Capital One Bank

One Of the Worst Bank ever Dealt with. I was Happy when it was Chevy Chase bank. Day by day they have becoming Worst bank to deal with. They close Branches without notice, No ATM access. They have placed 2 ATM's within 100Feet in a Mall in Beltway Plaza. we have to Drive 10 Miles to just get access to an ATM. I am moving to Another Bank. I am not Happy with Capital One bank, not this ATM or Branch.

This is not a real bank. It should be labeled as an atm. They do not have tellers and cannot cash checks. Does not have full service banking capabilities. Staff was friendly but do not understand why they even have staff to begin with. It should be a stand alone atm since that’s the only capability they have

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If it were possible to give this branch ZERO stars, I would. Firstly, their outdoor ATM was out of service and they did not have it labeled as such. Many people, including myself had their cards confiscated by the machine -- leaving me without money. I entered the bank to let the teller know, and to my surprise there was only ONE employee and no manager working and a BIG LINE OF PEOPLE. I explained to her that the machine took my card and I was in a rush to get money to go pick up my vehicle from an auto repair shop. I had walked to the bank and didn't have my car. She said that she wouldn't be able to return my card to me because I bank with Citi, not Capital One. I asked her if I could speak with a manager and she told me to wait... after waiting in line for more than 20 minutes with a several other customers who were losing their patience -- I again asked her if I could speak with a manager about getting my card from the machine. She said she could call her manager but it would be a waste of time because the manager won't do anything, even though my card was taken because their ATM machine was out of order. What kind of customer service is that? So RUDE, and no regard for my time or money, and didn't even offer to see if the Manager could help. Additionally, even though I told her the machine outside was broken, she never put an out of order sign or anything outside and SEVERAL other people had their cards taken away by the machine AFTER ME! I will NEVER use this branch or its machines for ANYTHING. Poor customer service, no manners and no logic. My entire afternoon was wasted, had to take Uber to Citi Bank which was very far and get a temporary card -- wasted my money and time! Stay away from this branch... I used to bank with Capital One and eventually moved to Citi and this was a good reminder as to why... I would recommend Citi bank over Capital One any day.
