Most of these review are very outdated. The hotel recently underwent significant renovations and has made a genuine effort to change it's vibe and reputation. We came in with low expectations, and were very impressed by the friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and excellent location. The hotel is only a 10 minutes trolley or bike ride to downtown, and is safely walkable via Canal street (about 30 minutes). As a bonus, the staff happened to be hosting a free crawfish boil while we were there, and we enjoyed bottomless Cajun food and beer before our night out. Check this place out!

I wasn't at the lucky inn hotel I was looking at a job next door I swear the place looks okay the house next door is $400,000 so it must be nice
