We rented out one of the whole buildings for a joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms were phenomenal, the staff was friendly, and the pool & hot tub were such a great way to relax after all the walking around! The patio area in the back was great and the location could not be beat. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The pictures don't do this place justice. The rooms are beautiful with tall ceilings and interesting decor that feels personal with modern touches (really nice, hot shower and de-fogging mirror). There's also a pool and hot tub. In terms of location, it was perfect: an easy walk to the French Quarter, but far enough away to have quiet nights. We also were able to walk through various iconic neighborhoods en route to city park (about an hour walk) and enjoyed a couple of the neighborhood restaurants. We'd absolutely stay here again. Rooms: Really beautiful. It's an hols house that has been turned into a hotel. The only tricky part was the gate code, which never seemed to work for us. Nearby activities: Lots of tours, shopping, people watching Walkability: It's a quick walk to the French Quarter. We parked our car and then didn't need to move it between all the sidewalk and really accessible public transport. Food & drinks: We loved Rubby Slipper (brunch) and Port of Call --good burgers and STRONG drinks.

Had the misfortune of getting Covid before my trip! You would think they would give you a partial refund for not wanting to get others sick. Nowhere in there advance purchase section does it say they do not refund due to illness or Covid. Please say so before people decide to book here! Super disappointed

Business Response on Google Mar 31st, 2024
Stephanie, we are sorry you fell ill and were unable to make your reservation. As explained during our phone conversation, the advanced purchase rate plan is a non-refundable option you can select while booking with us that saves you 10% on your total cost, but comes with some restrictions. Most importantly, selecting this rate plan means that modifications to the reservation are not allowed and if canceled, the reservation does not qualify for a refund. The following exert was pulled directly from our website when making a reservation: Advanced Purchase Rate Policy - 100% due at booking. No refunds or changes allowed. Cancellations will incur 100% of cost. We do not issue refunds for cancelled flights or inclement weather. In addition, in order to proceed with making an advanced purchase reservation online, you have to check the box stating that you understand and agree to the cancellation policy. After you called to explain your situation, our manager decided to make an exception and allow you to reschedule, even though date changes are not usually allowed for advanced purchase reservations. Our offer was declined. We understand that you are disappointed - we are disappointed that you will not be able to visit as well. However, we do suggest reading all rules and policies completely before making a reservation.- The Rathbone Team
