        Room was very clean, I declined housekeeping during my stay. Quiet hotel about a 5 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Was also an 18 minute walk to the convention center where I had my meetings. Used the app to access my room. Shower had great pressure. Rooms: Clean, nice TV Nearby activities: 5 minutes to Bourbon Street Safety: There are homeless in the area, just be careful it's not a safe city. Walkability: Very walkable to various places. I walked to the convention center and the casino in less than 18 minutes

        I stay here this past weekend. The ladys at the front desk was very nice. The lobby of the hotel was nice and clean. When I got to my room I was very disappointed. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. The sink wouldnt drain so we couldnt use it. The toilet handle broke so the only way we could flush was to take the top off. No one never offered if we want housekeeping to come in while I was there, so my room never was cleaned the whole time I was there and I had to go down and get towels.

        Room wasn't bad. Somewhat dated, but given the price and literally less than a block outside the quarter I rounded up to 4 stars. Service was about the same, but hats off to Sley and the bar service. We got in 9p on a Wed and hit Blue Bayou on Canal for ok food that was way overpriced and hidden fees. Thursday we decided just wings and flatbread at the hotel. Not sure what he did to the wings, but damn they were delicious. As was the flatbread. So if you are getting there late, skip the nearby tourist traps and just visit Sley for great wings, drinks and conversation. Nearby activities: Drinks. Don't bring children to downtown. Walkability: Literally less than a block and you are at the corner of Canal and Royal. Food & drinks: See above. Fair prices (especially for a hotel in NOLA), wings and flatbread were delicious, especially considering its NOLA.
