Gorgeous, clean, and perfectly located Pool looked gross, and room didn't have a fridge for my leftovers.

Our suite was incredible, but needed some tlc. Stains on the walls, the floors needed a good scrub, and the bathtub was stained and peeling. Super close to Jackson Square and the French market, so great location. The beds were very comfortable foam mattresses. It's not perfect, but I would stay there again for sure.

A shell of its former self. My room, you had to run the water for hours before it was warm. Showers, forget about it, unless you wanted to wait till kingdom come to get warm water to get a 5 minute shower, good luck. The only saving grace is its proximity to Frenchman Str.

pool was not working , did not look well. rooms large, okay with tv, safe,coffee maker, however wifi did not work in back rooms. no breakfest options, nice garden

No subsequent towels were provided ; roach was found; our room door was propped open when our party arrived (our traveling friends were able to check out and secure our room before we arrived); A/C was not great and difficult to operate; the overnight guy did not know where our room was but staff was nice. The pool in the middle of the courtyard was empty and being worked on but is left in such an unsafe state (like 5 foot fall hazard with no guarding) that makes me uncertain whether they have liability insurance. Mind you this was in spring break season not the winter, so that is concerning. The place is hundreds of years old and feels like it. Only only person at a time works here it seems. Unclear whether they have housekeeping. Someones clothes were in our closet at checkin, which is part of me having that question.
This place feels like it is hanging on by a thread to staying in business. Lets see if a manager cares enough to respond to this review?
Maybe its your jam, but not mine. Great location, but if your expectation is a hotel by modern standards, youll be disappointed.
