My mother spent a full year at Peristyle's Old Metairie Gardens. My review is specific to this residence. However, if the other homes are run like this was, they should also be excellent.
I can say with confidence that everything that was promised was delivered. The staff was very caring and worked their schedules to incorporate my mother's needs. I kept a video monitor in the room and witnessed this caring for a whole year. Also, they kept her room clean, clean, and clean. Every time I asked for anything to be done just a little differently to accommodate Mom's wishes, it was done. She loved the food too.
These folks are compassionate and are committed to running a great operation, even during COVID. Most importantly I was promised she could live out her life in place there and they kept that promise.
