image This company has been a godsend for my grandmother. We started with Advanced Care 2 years ago. It was getting extremely difficult to get grandma to the car, then to have to wait forever in the waiting room and again in the exam room for a doctor. Having a primary care provider come to see her at home has just made things so much easier. We've met two NPs and they have been absolutely wonderful. Both are extremely professional and knowledgeable. The office staff are courteous and efficient. We get more out of this practice than we ever did in seeing a doctor in an office and the co-pay is the exact same. I wish we would have known about Advanced Care sooner.

image One wishes that you could give them LESS THAN one star. My father is entirely bedfast with only one working hand and a terminal disease. When we first found this service, it was a God send. We had a way of filling my dads medicines without finding ways of getting him to an office which caused him more pain. Since 2019, however, we have seen the quality of their care decline. At first, it was, We can't give him his flu shot because the price of epi-pens has increased. We are required to have those with us to vaccinate. We understood because of the potential for adverse reactions to any vaccine. Then cue the pandemic. We understood the wearing of masks and them not touching the patients due to the potential of catching COVID. (The nurses exact words.) But, cue now three years later, and the nurse still does not touch him to get an O2 level or a blood pressure. She sits on her little stool, taking notes and refilling medication. She stays 10 minutes but bills for an hour. We decided to reduce their visits from monthly to quarterly since we do more for him than the service does. At the beginning of the year, we received two bills billing for visits that they had not done. We called them thinking it may be a mistake. The office team informed us that she had told them she visited in November and December. NEITHER happened. She visited in January and was scheduled for an April visit (that she would later cancel for personal reasons-which was fine). We have called several times to correct the billing error and they refuse to correct it. So, since this is the second time we have been double charged, we reached out to my fathers insurance. When my mother called the Advanced Care office team again last week over the situation and was told that we could discuss it with the nurse on her May 3 visit. A visit we were never notified of to ask if it would work but were told the provider had rescheduled when we contacted the office staff. Yesterday was May 3. Did the provider visit? No, she did not. What we did receive was a letter in the mail citing the termination of care due to a poor therapeutic relationship. Letting us know we have 30 days from the time of the letter to find a new service provider. Lesson here? Watch your bills, folks. They double bill then dont like when their hand is called on it. They monopolize the in-home care market because there are not a lot of services that provide what they do. They do this kind of stuff then think we have to take it because those who have chosen to care for an Ill loved one in their home have zero options. Be aware. The shine of a new, God send program can wear off VERY QUICKLY.
