Quality Inn & Suites - Closed

We were only here for 5 hours. Very uncomfortable pillows and not very clean. The stairway needed to be cleaned or at the least swept up.

Arrived at Hotel after working 8 hours and driving from my home on Indiana that we just moved to. Had a reservation through choice rewards git here at 1100pm. Only for the front desk staff to greet me rudely and turn me a way because my license still had my kentucky address which was to close "within" 50 miles of them . Explained I didn't live here anymore and still denied me my stay. What a piece of s***. So mad right now had to drive to Ashland for another hotel... ugggggg

PROS: The room was great, very clean! Sweetest welcome note waiting for us in our room. The pillows on the bed were ridiculously small, but they at least provided you with 4 on a king size bed. The sheets on the bed were AMAZING!!!! The staff was okay. The front desk woman was super nice. CONS: As previously mentioned the pillows were just...silly. Like half the size of a standard pillow. Looked more like toss pillows for a sofa and stuffed in a pillow cover. So strange. The pool was dangerously overloaded with chemicals. Our family spent under an hour in the pool and most of them had chemical burns to their eyes and skin. They had to spend most of the rest of the evening in bed. Showers didnt even help the chlorine was so thick. At the end of our stay, the cleaning crew began cleaning our room out before we had even turned our keys in at 10:40. Check out is 11. All that aside for the price it was a good deal. Just stay out of the pool until they can get the chemicals right. No one should have burns to their eyes and face feom swimming in the pool for such a short time.
