DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS IN TOPEKA, KANSAS
I'm in Kansas doing business two or three times a year for weeks or months at a time. I will NEVER rent from Avis in Topeka again!!!!!
Horribly rude and surly Avis attendant that rented the car to me in Topeka, Kansas. The man at the counter was unfriendly, unhelpful, slowed down entire process of renting the car, and didn't seem interested in even renting the car to me. He told me that he couldn't use my driver's license. Then, he asked for my passport, which I happened to have in my pocket AND STILL SAID THAT HE COULDN'T RENT TO ME. Finally, he used my driver's license and rented to me. It took over 20 minutes to simply rent a car and there were no other customers present.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS AVIS RENTAL STORE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will advise everyone I know to avoid it.
Go to Enterprise!! They have two Topeka locations and they are MUCH friendlier. I would have done so myself but had an appointment that day and it was immediately before Christmas.
