Sunrise Place Apartments

Was a cruddy place when a friend lived there in 2019, then after giving a tour this year they wouldnt answer their phone for two weeks straight, twice a day for a relative who wanted to rent from them. If they cant even pick up the phone for a potential tenant then how do they treat current tenants?

I lived here for three years and believed it was a good location to call home. It's in a good location, close to the city center. The rent is reasonable, especially for the two and three storey flats. Bugs have never been an issue for me. They spray the perimeter of the structures on a daily basis. The pool was a welcome addition. Any maintenance concerns were always resolved within a fair time frame. The property manager, Jill, was always kind and quick to respond to her emails. I received a chunk of my money back; I wish it had been more, but don't we all yearn for more? I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is considering relocating to Lawrence.

Recently filled out my application to move in a week ago, and have not heard anything back. I was given a date I could move in and everything which is in less than a week! I have been calling for week.. No answer. I would still love a call back with an update on my application! Erica is very sweet, no on ever answers the phone..

Ive lived at Sunrise for 2+ years. The new management is great.. but the maintenance guys Alex and Levi have gone beyond and above for me personal even after hours. They are truly great people and I love living here.

I lived here for 3 years and I always thought it was a decent place to live. Good location, close to downtown. Rent prices are competitive especially for the 2 and 3 level units. Never had an issue with bugs at all. They regularly come around and spray the perimeter of the buildings. The pool was a nice amenity. Any maintenance issues were always taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Jill, the property manager was always very kind and responsive to her emails. Got a portion of my deposit back, wish it could have been more but don't we all? Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone moving to Lawrence.
