Armory House

Strongly discourage living at the armory house. The AC is turned off from October until further notice at least. Currently the 3rd floor is over 85 degrees and sleeping is not ideal with hot temperatures. Along with the dead social scene and poor food, no variety and very limited dining hours. Living anywhere else would be your best bet.

I had such a wonderful time staying at Armory House. I love the atmosphere and the community here. The food is amazing, and all the staff are the friendliest people I’ve ever met in my college life. Rooms are spacious and clean. The community is tight-knitted. Everyone is just very friendly with each other and it’s easy to build your relationships here. Everyone who needs help will definitely get help fast! Armory House does a great job listening to students’ requests and recognizing students’ needs. It was a pleasant time to stay here for more than 2 years in my college experience. Thank you Armory House!

I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to live. Incredibly dismissive and slow application process. It cost me all of three hundred dollars to fill out an application for a room style that I want, and their website and a representative specifically said was available. I sign the lease immediately, and FOUR DAYS later, they inform me that the room that I want has been FILLED UP??? They then have the nerve to try and downgrade me into a different, far overpriced, smaller room, or ask if I want a refund. After asking for a refund, they have ignored me for an entire week, without ever GIVING the refund back. One entire work week, and they still refuse to give me back my $300? Additionally, of their emails was short, unprofessional, slow, and rude. If you are lucky enough to have gotten a room, I offer my congratulations, but for any potential applicants, don't bother, it will be a waste of both time and money, and your communications will be filled with lies, even after you sign, just so they can pull the rug from under you.
