They are refusing to pay the court-ordered settlement as ordered due to their breach of contract, which we won in summary judgement. We also just found that the IRS has liens on their equipment, which will make it more difficult for us to see our settlement and also more difficult for anyone to see their money back, if necessary. If I could give them zero stars in review, I would. My husband, a disabled vet, and I will never be hiring Idaho Home and Energy again.
It has been almost 2 years since we first engaged this outfit, and we still need a new roof. My toddler, disabled vet husband and I are looking for resolution still to this situation. It might save you some hassle by researching other crews.
EDIT: These folks are now operating under the name Idaho Home Exteriors.

Idaho Home and Energy responded quickly to my initial inquiry. Also they were very professional in their demonstration of the product and pricing. They met their suggested timeframe for installation. One recommendation for improvement would be that the installation crew cleans up the ground of old caulk and screws. Otherwise the installation was very clean, quick and secure.

I had nothing but problems and disappointment from Idaho Home and energy. I had a roof installed that took 6 days to complete, they showed up without any noticed, did not complete the job to my satifaction, after they left for the evening they left the place a disaster, parked their equipment in my driveway so that I could not get out, and the roof began leaking after 1 year. I tried calling them to warranty the leak but they would never call me back. Be careful hiring this company. I had to listen to a 3 hour presentation of how great they were and was shown how they are awarded for all their great service. When I asked for the sales rep to return and go over all my issues he would never call me back. The production manager did show to address some issues and I believe that he was high on drugs. If you do look into doing business with them, it might be a good idea to check on their drug testing policy.

Would recommend them. They put gutters on our house and they look great. They didn't communicate well at all and we had to stay on them to get them to come out. Employees acted professionally.
