Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of it. We went into the Rent-A-Center on Overland road here in Boise. I called beforehand to find out what pieces of information I'd need to rent a TV from them. We went in with all the pieces of information, they had us sit down while they fill out my information and call my boss/references. An hour to an hour and a half pass, still no word on when this'll be finished. We tell the salesmen that we're going to leave because this is taking too long and we've gotten other things to do. The manager of that store comes up and says we need to wait until the paperwork is finished (which we already knew but we had other things to do and didn't have ALL DAMN DAY to sit at the RAC location) and my mom informed the manager we were leaving, the manager got disrespectful with my OWN mother, so I raised my voice with the manager and said "Quit being disrespectful to my mother, you're a manager of a store in which you're acting like a silly 15 year old boy not getting his way because of how crappy the customer service is" He then tells us to leave or else he's going to call the cops, funny thing is we were on our way out. HAHAHA. How pathetic can these guys get honestly, I wouldn't recommend EVER stepping foot in that location. Read the reviews before you do or else you'll be wasting your time!

We went in to this highly over populated by unintelligent "management" store to rent a TV. We had called prior to going so it would be a quick and efficient transaction, but it was not.
This team of underdogs was moronically unorganized, physically awkward, not customer friendly and blatantly disrespectful. After waiting over an hour with no end in sight, we decided not to do business with this establishment. (It seems that was a great decision after reading the stores reviews) So we sternly told the staff we were done with the wait, the incapability of employees ect. and to disregard the transaction. We were headed out the door when the portly manager who claims he runs all the stores in the area, told us to "get out of my store before I call the police"
LoL no joke. We were already leaving because we'd made a conscious decision not to spend our money with fools. Think twice before doing business with those who clearly are unaware of how to run a business :)

This is a terrible Rent a Center! Ghetto at best! The managers are unprofessional with no accountability. They scratched my kitchen table (the last one) when they delivered it. No apolgy. Complaints? You are promptly referred to the customer service number (yawn), no help there. I think it's the same pool of high school drop outs. This is a subpar mixture of lower intellect and just plain lazy group of people. My suggestion?: Go to AArons. They are far more professional, better quality items and the furniture doesn't smell like cigarettes when it's delivered. Stay away from this Managment team (John and his group). It will be a bad experience and waste your money.
