Rome Health and Rehab staff from admin to nursing to CNA were caring and attentive of my mother. They were available to answer questions and talk through any concerns. My family would recommend!

My mother was here for over 8 weeks. She complained of the cockroaches that roamed her room repeatedly and was told "there was nothing they could do about it". Also, nursing staff didn't attend to daily needs (bandage changes, meds, etc). I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I would like to Thank the Entire Staff for my Dad’s (Mr. Buell V. Ingram) senior care for several months. He loved Y’all as his health declined due to aging. He called his “Comfort Zone” his home. God Bless you Health Care Hero’s, I admire the staffs strength, determination and kindness for the Best Care for Dad during the most stressful times during COVID. My brother was at Rome Health & Rehab recently for several weeks, he had never been in a skilled nursing facility and he was having a rough time at first understanding why he was there and what was going on but the staff worked so good with him…. They were patient and kind, they all treated him with respect and took time day after day to explain things to him. Summer who is Social Services stayed in communication with me and went above and beyond to be there for us in every way. Each time I called Melissa answered the phone with a smile and a sweet friendly voice. I felt so comfortable knowing my brother was receiving great care there. And when it was time to leave Summer once again helped guide us in where the best next step was. I can’t say enough good things about Rome Health & Rehab…. If you want you or your loved ones taken good care of this is where to go!

I have a family member here in their care, so far from what we have seen most of the staff is nice and attentive, but there is a woman (Diane) at the front who is constantly rude. She huffs and puffs about answering questions or doing anything and needs a different job if she can't be a people person. We have heard the way she talks to some patients, belittling them, acting as if they are children, and raising her voice (not yelling but scolding). When you have a job like this you need to learn how to treat people with respect, especially the elderly or impared. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Literally haven't had any issue with anyone else here. But they do tend to lose clothes if they take them to wash them, even if the name is written. (Like every nursing home).
