Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Scottish Rite Hospital

Worst hospital ever! If you are worried about your childs health and you happen to be of color, or a biracial family I would HIGHLY suggest you find a different hospital. The racial profiling and gossiping done by the staff is absolutely unbelievable. Youd think their first priority would be to care for your child but instead they are to worried about creating false narratives and producing a diagnosis that is not true to fit their imaginary assumptions of people who are not of Caucasian ethnicity.

My daughter had excellent care, she needed to have appendicitis surgery and the doctors were specialists in this matter. I loved the structure of the room where we stayed for two nights and I could not fail to mention my happiness in being able to speak my Portuguese language through translators and the super kind Brazilian employee Ricardo who was with us all the time. Receive all our affection.

Security was very difficult. Drove 2 hrs to get here on time and security wouldnt let me in. My wife was able to go in. I was here a month ago and went back, i couldnt go in the lab so i waited outside in the lobby. Couldnt even do that this time. Wouldn't even let me go the bathroom at first. Then when they did i was escorted like a criminal. I was there to help my wife carry the baby and bags. Other parents were there with there spouses. I dont understand. Atleast move security past the bathrooms. Very upset and dissapointed.

Awesome group of people. The way they treated my child was nothing short of excellent. Everyone including the student intern was great. Thank you all for phenomenal service.

Staff and medical personnel truly care about children's well being. They are caring and thorough. They take Thier time with thier patient's and the parents with questions or concerns.
