We had nothing but terrible experiences with Pediatric Endocrinologist. The practice has gotten to big and we felt like only a number instead of a person. Took weeks to get school forms filled and had to camp out in the waiting room to get them. The nutritionist was so "cold" and made us feel completely uncomfortable. Dr. Anderson tried to blame us for not making a right decision about our sons care when he had never informed us of any of our options to begin with. We are now at Van Meter Endocrinology and extremely happy with Dr. Joey Low. Everyone is so personable and we get our calls and paperwork within days.

This place is the worst office I have ever been to; Meg...is the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone. She refused to resubmit the claim to the insurance (Peach State) due to an error in coverage. She referred to other patients with similar issues with this type of insurance and how they are denied and the parent ends up having to pay. She then told me to call back Monday to speak with Crystal. Oh...this was after I filled out 15 sheets of papers and sent insurance information one month prior to scheduled appointment. The insurance was verified before the appointment. Things that make you go hmmmm. I can't say much about the Dr. because we only saw her for 10 minutes. The nutritionist was nice-nasty too. I have called several times and each time Meg was very rude. When I called the Diagnostic company(for same issue for the same visit), they resubmitted the claim while I was on the phone with no problems... This office is very unconcerned. You can call and leave a message only. They call you back at 4:55 so be around to pick up the call or you're back to calling again and leaving yet another message. Results took a month to get, and their online portal is a joke; they never update information. You can't send email to the Physician or manager. This was the worst medical experience dealing with the "professional" support staff.

(Translated by Google) This place is very bad, I have had 2 times problems, with the Manager that I have felt in potent and I have started crying with courage, my daughter is 12 years old and 4 years old with diabetes, the first time I had intercalated that my term insurance and was in the process of fixing, and this woman the manager there Mrs. Megan did not want to give me the supplies for my girl, and my daughter had just 2 weeks with type 1 diabetes. the other was that I arrived 10 minutes late to the appointment and he didn't want to pass me, until 2 hours later it was very humiliating, I was left alone in the waiting room and until he felt like this woman, it happened to me, I don't know what else to do to me Daughter does not like that place, because she has looked at the treatment they have been giving us, very humiliating and I ask that woman Megan and says that this is a private place, that if we do not like to look for another place, I am Hispanic and I wonder will this racist be Mrs. Megan.

My daughter has been a patient with them for almost 8 years now. This practice is terrible when it comes to customer service. If you have any questions or an emergency, don't expect to call and talk to anyone. If you call for a prescription, don't expect to hear anything back after you leave a message. Literally, if you have a diabetic emergency(not enough for 9-1-1), expect to be sent to voicemail. Once you are in the office for an appointment, things are somewhat better. Not great, but better. After this last experience(called for a script, had to leave a message, no confirmation they even got the message, 48 hours later no script at drug store, no way to talk to anyone to find out if/when it was going to be sent, daughter running out of insulin while we wait), I'll be looking to change endocrinologist.
