Archer Apartments

Robbed on Renewal I decided to renew my lease. Landmark, the new company that manages the apartment complex, said those who renew first get the best rate. That was a total lie. I renewed for $810 a month for a single bedroom which is almost a $100 dollar rate hike from last year. To add insult to injury. A few weeks later they advertise the same apartment floor plan on Instagram for $775. I asked about this and they essentially said you signed, so we can't do anything now. So, now I'm out $420 (810-775= 35 x 12 = $420).

Archer is a great place to live, and it has a good location. I wish there was a garbage disposal, but other than that it is a great place to live.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. When I moved in I read the reviews and thought oh it cant be that bad but it is. Living at this complex is not safe. There are NO security measures to keep you safe here. I have lived here for 1.5 years. During that span, both of my roommates as well as myself and some guests have had their car windows smashed and then robbed. On top of that, my moped was stolen. It was chained to a bike rack literally 5 feet from the window of my bedroom. Only live here if you are okay with your property being vandalized/stolen. We have reached out multiple times to try and get at least a few security cameras installed but we always got the same answer: thats a corporate decision. My roommates and I have totaled 3000+ dollars in damages/thefts in our time here so unless you enjoy burning money stay away.
