The counsellors are nothing short of amazing and unparalleled to any in my experience. They genuinely care, they accept and encourage you to be who you truly are in a supportive environment. Their aim is to give you a greater understanding of addiction and how to prevent relapses - they give you the tools to integrate this into your daily life. Since leaving, I feel proud to live my life as a recovering addict. Thank you!

All of the staff do everything they can to help out every client and are focused on making sure all clients are receiving the care they need. This is not my first time in treatment but this is my first time in a mental health program and they are so incredible. I am so grateful for another chance since I’m dual diagnosis and I wouldn’t be where I am without this opportunity. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Extremely old apartments that don't even have central heat and air. They have these a.c. units that are kinda like hotel air conditioners. And the way they deal with your water bill is that a private company manages it. And whatever unit your in, you all split the water bill throughout the building. So it doesn't matter if you use 20 gallons of water a month or 200 gallons...you're either picking up the slack for how much water others use or they're picking up your slack for how much you use. The walls are also paper thin. The apartments are set up in such a way that your bedroom is most likely separated by a thin wall and your neighbors living room is just on the other side. So while you're trying to sleep, your neighbors may be up in their living room making noise that you can hear so you're not getting much rest. Their rent prices are OUTLANDISH for their age...completely not worth what you're going to end up paying in the end. They're not well insulated either so your electric bill is going to be through the roof. The ONLY positive thing about these apartments are their location. The plaza these apartments are located behind has everything in it you could want...even a grocery store. Yet the best part is that the plaza is within walking distance. So is the mall. That is the ONLY upside to these apartments. Lots of places you can go within walking distance. However the negatives severely outweigh the positives to these apartments. So if you have the option and ability to live somewhere else, you will be much better off and happier. Oh yeah, the crime in this area is pretty bad. Myself and a delivery driver were held up at gunpoint one night while the delivery driver was dropping something off. The guy actually fired off a shot into the drivers truck after he made off with some cash. Also, punk kids cut through there and break into cars and/or vandalize them. Also right next door are the University Square apartments and they're section 8 so that's something else to consider...
