This was a pleasant hotel to stay at. Unfortunately, they were under construction. We could not enjoy the full experience as a by-product. I would stay here again.

The Hilton took over the hotel. They took down the Hotel Denver sign, which was a part of our small town. People come here because we have history. Very sad.

We were very excited and saved up almost $400 to spend an evening at this historic hotel in Glenwood Springs, and boy were we highly disappointed. The booking process was extremely misleading and difficult, especially because nowhere were we warned about the full renovation (even after a couple phone calls speaking to them about the booking process). We were met with plastic covered walls and ceilings, but again, had no warning whatsoever. Also, the pet fee was very high and the hotel was not at all flexible about checkout times. Bummer!
