Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge

I had a very nice stay here. Only complaint was the walls of the rooms are thin so you can hear the other guests a lot. Rooms themselves are very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful and provided great service. Excellent value for what we paid, especially considering the free hot breakfast they include. Compliments to assistant manager Chris Whelpton - he's the best! Walkability: Easy to walk across the pedestrian bridge into town where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Overall, we had a lovely experience at Glenwood. When we arrived, I felt as if our room wasn't up to snuff. Nothing was missing from the online description, the layout just didn't suit our needs in the way I thought it would for 4 people. Chris, the manager, is absolutely phenomenal. He was incredibly considerate, kind, and patient. He offered to move us to a new room to ensure our needs were met. This was so appreciated! Regarding the hot springs, we loved that there was 1 decent temperature pool for my daughters and 1 hot pool for us to relax in. All of the restaurants and shops are within walking distance, which we really enjoyed! It is a beautiful and very safe area!

Rooms are a bit small for the money and we could hear conversations of the people staying in each of the rooms next to ours. Due to construction and the entrance of the pool, it's a walk around the block to get to breakfast or the pool. But I really appreciate the hot breakfast and hot springs pools being included in the price. And multiple places give a discount for staying at the lodge. Rooms: Rooms were small but comfortable. We could hear conversations in the rooms next to ours. The bathroom fan was dangling from the ceiling when we arrived, but that snapped back into place easily. Walkability: There are restaurants near by, seems like everyone seems to serves drinks. The adventure park gondolas are only a few blocks away. And access to the hot springs and Yampa vapor cape caves spa and salon are nearby
